At Aangan Studios, we try to process and ship every order as quickly as possible. If you wish to cancel your order, please read the cancellation terms below.
1. Order Cancellation Before Shipment
You can request order cancellation within 6 hours of placing the order or before the order is shipped, whichever is earlier.
To cancel your order:
- Email us at care@aanganstudios.com
- Mention your order number
- Mention the reason for cancellation
If your order has not been shipped and the cancellation request is received within the allowed time, we will cancel the order and process the eligible refund.
Once the order is packed, dispatched, or shipped, cancellation may not be possible.
2. Order Cancellation After Shipment
Once the order is shipped, it cannot be cancelled directly.
If you no longer want the product after shipment:
- You may refuse the delivery at the time of delivery, or
- You may raise a return request after receiving the product, as per our Return, Exchange & Refund Policy
Refund or store credit will be processed only after the product is returned to us and inspected.
3. Prepaid Order Refund
For prepaid orders, if the cancellation is approved before shipment:
- The refund will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
- Refunds will be processed through Razorpay and/or the respective bank/payment provider.
- The refund may take 5–7 business days, depending on the payment provider and bank process.
4. COD Order Cancellation
Cash on Delivery orders can be cancelled within 6 hours of placing the order or before the order is shipped, whichever is earlier.
Aangan Studios reserves the right to cancel COD orders in case of:
- Incomplete or incorrect address details
- Failed order verification
- Non-serviceable pin code
- Repeated order refusal
- Unreachable customer
5. EMI Order Cancellation
For orders placed through EMI, cancellation eligibility will follow the same cancellation policy.
If an EMI order is cancelled and the refund is approved:
- The eligible refund amount will be processed through Razorpay and/or the respective bank/payment provider.
- Aangan Studios cannot directly cancel, modify, or close your EMI plan.
- EMI adjustment, cancellation, or closure will be handled by your bank/payment provider after the refund is processed.
- Any EMI interest, processing fee, cancellation charge, foreclosure charge, or other applicable charges will depend on your bank/payment provider’s policy.
- Such EMI-related charges may not be refundable by Aangan Studios.
6. Cancellation by Aangan Studios
Aangan Studios reserves the right to cancel any order due to:
- Product unavailability
- Pricing or listing error
- Payment failure or pending payment status
- Incorrect or incomplete customer details
- Delivery location not serviceable by our courier partners
- Suspected fraudulent or suspicious activity
In such cases, if payment has already been made, the eligible refund will be processed to the original payment method.
